Join this practical workshop designed for OTs and PTs prescribing complex rehab technology for their clients. Learn how modular seating solutions can benefit your clients postural support and alignment requirements, pressure management, and functional goals. 

What you’ll learn:

• Clinical reasoning examples: Work through a real case study to understand assessment strategies and decision-making for seating and wheelchair configuration.
•  Pressure mapping made practical: See live demonstrations and learn how to interpret results to guide cushion selection.
•  Hands-on adjustments: Gain experience trialling and fine-tuning back supports, cushions and lateral trunk supports.
• Spex Seating deep dive: Explore the clinical benefits of contoured backs and cushions to enhance stability, comfort, and independence.

All attendees will receive an attendance certificate for their professional development requirements.

Edward Milner

Edward completed his Occupational Therapy training in Brisbane and has worked in various health fields, including Adult Disability, Mental Health and Spinal Cord Injury.

Edward specialised in wheelchair prescription during his time in England, working with a spinal cord rehabilitation unit and the NHS wheelchair service. He returned to Australia with these clinical skills and continued supporting individuals with neurological conditions in the community before crossing over to a product consultant role scripting mobility equipment.

Edward is passionate about supporting therapists to develop confidence in wheelchair seating prescription with the goal of ensuring that our end-users are happy, functional and comfortable within their seating system.
